Dr. Garcia is a licensed psychologist. She uses research-based approaches to effectively treat various issues or problems that arise for people within the context of culture, identity, beliefs, life stage, and other circumstances. She works with individuals, groups, and families with warmth and caring to understand their problems, identify goals, and make meaningful changes that improve their lives.

Dr. Garcia treats all patients. She is also a neuropsychologist experienced in helping patients and families understand the effects of brain injury and disease on daily functioning and specializes in traumatic brain injury, dementia, stroke and brain injury.

Dr. Garcia earned a PhD in Counseling Psychology from Arizona State University and completed a two-year postdoctoral fellowship in neurorehabilitation.
