Noreen Woods, NP

Noreen Woods, a board certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner, relocated from Massachusetts to Eagle County in 2020 when her husband was offered a job with Vail Resorts. Prior to relocating, she had been working in the outpatient geriatric psychiatry department at McLean Hospital in Belmont, MA, where she was also involved in various clinical research efforts. Once in Colorado, she worked for several years at a federally qualified health center, where she provided psychiatric services to adults from Eagle and surrounding counties. While geriatric psychiatry remains her passion, she has also worked in addiction treatment centers, community mental health, and correctional facilities. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Neuroscience from Brown University and a Master of Science in Nursing and a Master’s in Public Health from Yale University.
