Professional Statement
As a behavioral health provider, Kady sees patients for individual psychotherapy. Kady specializes in trauma-informed modalities including EMDR Therapy and Sensorimotor Psychotherapy to support patients in reprocessing past traumas and attachments wounds. This helps patients to shift maladaptive core beliefs of self and the world to more adaptive and positive ones. Kady also uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and mindfulness to support patients struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, family breakdown and life transitions. Kady blends her experience across modalities and tailors her work to address each individual and their unique needs, challenges and strengths.
Kady grew up in the northwest suburbs of Chicago. Kady has always had passion for adventure, travel and the outdoors and has sought out every opportunity to embrace those interests. Kady has enjoyed living in a number of places around the world including Chicago, Sydney, Singapore and Denver where she has been fortunate to practice as a social worker in many settings and with different populations. She has been grateful to have landed in Summit County with her husband and two pups where she enjoys trail running, marathons, camping, skiing and more recently taken an interest in fly fishing. You can often find Kady on her paddle board on Lake Dillon or in the outback of Keystone going faster than she probably should!
