Joanna Kluender, PMHNP

Joanna Kluender is a Nurse Practitioner specializing in Psychiatry and Adult primary care.  She has lived in the majestic Rocky Mountains for 29 years and aims to bridge the gap between the mountain lifestyle, mental health, and access to psychiatric care in rural communities.  She has a Master of Science degree in Nursing and is dual board certified as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Adult Nurse Practitioner. As a provider, Joanna has worked in correctional medicine, orthopedics, acute pain service, outpatient psychiatry, and residential treatment for psychiatric and addiction disorders. She brings a wealth of expertise to medication management of mental health disorders, specializing in depression, anxiety, bipolar disorders, trauma, substance use, and addiction.  In her free time, Joanna enjoys spending time and traveling with her family, hiking with her German shorthaired pointer, reading, and sailing the high-altitude lakes in Colorado.
