Elida Benitez, MD

Dr. Ellie Benitez, MD is a double board-certified general and child and adolescent psychiatrist, who completed medical school, residency and fellowship training at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. She is passionate about partnering with her patients through a holistic approach and is experienced in providing both medication management and therapeutic interventions related to various psychiatric conditions. Dr. Benitez has specific interests in infant and perinatal mental health, behavioral concerns in young children, and neurodiversity, though she truly enjoys working with patients facing any psychiatric diagnosis. Her integrative approach to care encompasses the use of evidence-based practices, building strong therapeutic relationships, and tailoring treatment to each individual patient, with a goal of helping each person thrive. Outside of work, Dr. Benitez enjoys spending time with her family and pets, playing and listening to music, gardening, and spending time at the beach!
